From reconnecting with old friends and welcoming alumni back to the Hill, to celebrating the coaches who have shaped our community and honoring Principia legends, Gold & Blue Weekend brought our Panther family together in the best way. Thank you to everyone who made this weekend so special. We can’t wait to welcome Panthers back next year\! 🐾

At Principia College, education extends far beyond the classroom. Guest speakers, thought leaders, innovators, and—in this case—peacebuilders enrich our students’ perspectives and challenge us to see the world in new ways.

Thank you to The Christian Science Monitor’s Kurt Shillinger, Stephanie Hanes, Sara Miller Llana, and Howard LaFranchi for an evening of thoughtful conversation and a timely reminder that building a more peaceful world is something each of us can contribute to.

Because understanding the world is just the beginning. What we choose to do with that understanding matters, too.

Today, we turn to the enduring spiritual truths of divine Love, the healing power of prayer, and the light that cannot be extinguished by darkness.
We hold in thought all those affected by September 11 and strive to meet the world with greater love, compassion, and peace.

Somewhere between the first class and the first late night with new friends, campus stopped feeling new. Today, we just said it out loud: welcome home!

The first week of classes means a little bit of everything. Missing assignments. New and exciting classes. First baseball practices. And for some, the start of their very last year of college. We asked our students to call home and tell their families how week one is going. Their conversations say it all: new routines, new experiences, a few things to figure out, and lots to look forward to.

Here's to week one, and everything still to come.
