The SPARC Festival is a celebration of the academic and artistic accomplishments of Mount students. Modeled after an academic conference, it is a two-day event which offers a wide variety of interesting and entertaining activities. The festival opens on Tuesday afternoon with the distinguished faculty address. On Wednesday students in the University Honors program present their research projects.
Poster sessions, lightning talks, FIRE talks, a keynote speaker, and a theatrical performance are also part of Wednesday’s schedule. The festival closes on Wednesday with an outdoor celebration of music, performance, and student community service and leadership.
