Mount St. Mary's University SPARC Festival

Mount St. Mary's University SPARC Festival The SPARC Festival celebrates the academic and artistic accomplishments of Mount students. The 2020 SPARC Festival will be held April 22-24.

The SPARC Festival is a celebration of the academic and artistic accomplishments of Mount students. Modeled after an academic conference, it is a two-day event which offers a wide variety of interesting and entertaining activities. The festival opens on Tuesday afternoon with the distinguished faculty address. On Wednesday students in the University Honors program present their research projects.

Poster sessions, lightning talks, FIRE talks, a keynote speaker, and a theatrical performance are also part of Wednesday’s schedule. The festival closes on Wednesday with an outdoor celebration of music, performance, and student community service and leadership. Senior Honors students lost the opportunity to present their capstone honors projects at the SPARC Festival, but the 33 scholars gained the chance to share their work with the world by preparing video presentations that are hosted on the university website. Spend some time learning about the research topics that interest you. We will be highlighting several of the projects in the coming days. https://msmary.edu/academics/student-success/honors-program/senior-honors-presentations.html
