5 th Year Feature Time!
Meet Ally Grande:
Hometown: Sharon, Pennsylvania
What Inspired You to be an OT?: I knew I wanted to help others and give back to families, so I knew occupational therapy was the best choice for me. I love working with kids, as I have in the past, but I also value seeing parents' reactions to their kids' success and seeing hope fill on their faces. Occupational therapy allows me to work with families and children to regain positivity and hope, along with helping children to regain their independence and be a part of their journey.

What about Gannon?: Gannon has given me ample opportunities to grow as a person, friend, and emerging professional. I have learned so much about myself through my years here, along with understanding my strengths and weaknesses to further improve myself as a whole. Gannon is not just a school where I spent the last 4 years; it is my second home where I met my forever people.
Your Professional Goals?: My professional goals are to continue to progress not only as a person but as a professional, along with pushing myself to be the best I can be to help others. I strive to provide hope and comfort to those I encounter through my journey as a future OT, and I can only hope to continuously make a positive impact on the lives of others.
