Continuing Education Classes and Industry Specific Training to area employers, allowing them to customize training for their employees and keep them up-to-date in their industry. And that's one of the coolest parts of watching EIT students progress through their programs. What begins as something unfamiliar slowly becomes something they know how to do with confidence.

A diploma might be what you leave with, but there’s a whole lot that happens before you get there.

There are skills you didn’t have before. Challenges that teach you patience. Instructors who push you a little further. Classmates who become friends. Projects you can finally look at and think, I did that.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you start becoming more confident in what you know and where you’re headed.

That’s the part of education that’s difficult to capture on paper.

It’s not just what you learn. It’s everything that happens while you’re learning it!

Progress doesn't always look like a diploma, a new job, or a big announcement.

Most of the time, it looks a lot more like this.

It's figuring out why something didn't work. Asking another question. Practicing the same technique again. Finally understanding something that didn't make sense last week.

Those seemingly ordinary moments happening in classrooms and labs every day are where real growth takes place.

Then, little by little, the things that once felt difficult become familiar.

That's the pretty incredible thing about learning a trade. You get to watch yourself become better at it. 💙

For 2nd-term Welding student Jason W., that path led to welding and an opportunity to turn that interest into a skillset he can continue building throughout his career.
