We are proud to celebrate Michaela Soper ’18 on being named Staff Member of the Year by Duquesne University Athletics.

According to the article, Michaela shared that she “wished she could break up her award into tiny pieces in order to share it with those around her.” Her humility, generosity, and dedication to those around her make this recognition even more meaningful. Hydrate sustainably, Golden Knights. đź’§

Thanks to a new partnership with Erie Water Works through their Tap 814 campaign, six new water bottle refilling stations have been installed across Gannon’s campus to encourage the use of tap water and help reduce single-use plastics.

This initiative supports Gannon’s ongoing commitment to sustainability through our Laudato Si and Project NePTWNE efforts, creating a healthier campus and community for all.

Keep an eye out for the new refill stations and educational graphics around campus, and bring your reusable water bottle along for the journey. 💛❤️

Congratulations, Jeremy!

Gannon Ruskin Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate Jeremy Chambers '26DPT found his path at Gannon the moment he stepped on campus, connecting with faculty and program leadership in a way that made his decision clear.

This August, he’s heading to a 13-month sports residency with Spartanburg Regional and Wofford College, where he’ll gain hands-on experience working with student-athletes across multiple sports. Jeremy hopes to build a career in professional baseball.

“I’m excited for graduation… and grateful to celebrate with my family and classmates who’ve been with me every step of the way.”

We’re proud of all you’ve accomplished, Jeremy, and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you! 🎓👏🏻❤️💛

Earlier this month we celebrated the Erie and Ruskin Class of 2026. Over the next several weeks we want to take a look back and highlight our new members of the Gannon University Alumni Association.

From determination to graduation day—Gannon is so proud of you, Anabel! 🎓

Anabel Franzmann '26 walked across the stage to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After transferring to Gannon University in search of a more supportive environment as a student-parent, Anabel found exactly what she needed: a welcoming community that helped her grow both personally and professionally.

“I’m really excited to finally graduate… and so grateful for my son, my fiancé, and my family who supported me every step of the way,” she said.

Anabel’s journey at Gannon is a powerful reminder of perseverance and purpose.
