Proud moment for Gannon’s School of Engineering and Computing (SEC) at American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE)!
Gannon’s SEC presence at ASEE continues to grow, showcasing the impactful work of our faculty and students on a national stage.
Our SEC faculty presented award-winning research on how first-year engineering students engage with AI—focusing on building critical thinking, ethical awareness, and effective use of these tools.
This work not only highlights innovative teaching practices but also informs how we continuously update our curriculum to reflect emerging technologies. By integrating AI thoughtfully into early coursework, we ensure our students are equipped with the skills, adaptability, and mindset needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving engineering landscape.
Recognized as one of the best in the First-Year Programs Division, this work reflects our commitment to preparing students for the future of engineering.
