We paired up with Central Washington University and Southern Oregon University for Spring FTX. A weekend focused on leadership, tactics, and teamwork. Cadets executed both day and night land navigation, tactical training lanes, and spent two full days sharpening their field skills.

With CST right around the corner, this FTX gave our MSIIIs another chance to gain valuable repetitions with tactics and build confidence.

Cadets took on the Combat Water Survival Test (CWST). The Combat Water Survival Test includes a 3-meter drop, a 15-meter swim, and gear disposal while submerged, all done in full uniform under pressure.
Not an easy event, but they stayed calm, trusted their training, and pushed through every part of it.
Solid work all around and a strong showing of confidence in the water.

What a weekend!
Saturday:
Webfoot Warriors ROTC brought the energy all day with football target throws and a sample of the AFT sprint-drag-carry which drew over 600 people to the booth. CDT Reynaud and the rest of the Cadets put max effort, professionalism, and engagement which made the event a success. To top it off, the MSIVs were recognized on the jumbotron, celebrating their hard work and leadership in their final year.

Sunday:
Cadets took on the full and half marathon, pushing past their limits and proving what discipline and resilience look like. Every mile tested them, but they kept moving forward and finished strong. A true reflection of their work ethic, showing up, putting in the effort, and earning that finish line!

THE RANGER CHALLENGE TEAM IS HEADED TO CALIFORNIA! 🦆

Traveling to California to compete against all 8th Brigade schools in what will be the biggest Ranger Challenge competition yet. They’ve been training hard under the guidance of MSG Jimenez, an actual Ranger and former Ranger Instructor, alongside Team Captain Reece Gallarzan, who helped build the training plan.
Early mornings at 0530, long rucks, and nonstop practice on warrior tasks and battle drills have prepared them for this weekend’s test of skill, endurance, and determination.

The preparation is done; now it’s go time.
