As we approach the beginning of a new term, the men of Phi Delta Theta: Oregon Alpha welcome all incoming transfer students and freshmen today! Just a few housekeeping notes:
1) With a new school year comes new recruits! Check us out at the Recruitment Kickoff on Sunday, September 27 at 4:30pm at the Ford Alumni Center (1720 E 13th Ave) to meet and greet with some of the brothers. This is a great way to get in touch and stay informed with the recruitment schedule.
2. For those interested in rushing, make sure you download the GreekRush app for iphone and andriod. This app is a great tool to use to find updates on recruitment events and other details.

We would like to thank everybody for coming out today to Tony's Vigil. Words cannot express how greatful we are of the community coming together to honor him and sharing our fondest memories of him. We will always remember Tony for his love and that smiling face, which we are sure he gave one more time while watching down upon us. We know you are in a better place, Tony, and your memory will be with us forever.

Come join us this Thursday, June 4 at 7:00pm at the EMU Amphitheater to celebrate Tony's life through vigil and commemoration. It will be a special time for all of us to reflect on the presence and happiness that Tony brought to our lives. All are welcome!

As we mourn the passing of one of our own, we remind ourselves of the true joy that Tony brought to everyone's lives. The smile he carried throughout his life will always be remembered, and he would want us to carry on his qualities of friendship and brotherhood, ones which he held so dearly. Thank you, Tony, for all that you have done for us. May we never forget the memories that you left us with.

Thank you Tri Delta - University of Oregon for the special gift we recieved today! We know that Tony had a wonderful time with you all leading up to and during Sigma Mu Omega University of Oregon's Dateable philanthropy! Much love! As we mourn the passing of one of our own, we remind ourselves of the true joy that Tony brought to everyone's lives. Phi Delta Theta at the University of Oregon has been deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of its brothers, Tony Nelson. As a brother of the chapter he exemplified all the values and principles that it means to be a Phi. This recently initiated member was taken from us too soon, and we will miss his positive and entertaining outlook on life. He could always make you smile and was a true friend that everyone should have at some point in their life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tony's friends and family, and he is a brother that will be deeply missed. A vigil will be held later this week, and details will be posted on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Rest in Peace, Tony. You will be forever missed.
