Today we celebrate 25 incredible SWHS graduates whose hard work, resilience, and determination carried them across the finish line, representing all six CR campus locations! From Eureka to Del Norte, the Klamath Trinity Instructional Site to the Pelican Bay Scholars, and every corner of our community, these students showed up, pushed through, and made it happen. 💛❤️

While we were not lucky enough to catch all of them in photos, every single graduate deserves a huge round of applause. 👏🎉

To the Class of 2026: YOU did it. YOU earned this moment. Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you in this leg of your journey. We cant wait to see where your journey leads next.

Congratulations, SWHS graduates! 🎉

Each year, the SWHS department proudly honors one or two graduates with the vou Llawi dalit Award (a name that translates from Wiyot to English as “You have walked a long way”).
This award recognizes students who have not only shown remarkable growth during their time at CR, but who have also stepped up as leaders, role models, and sources of inspiration for their peers.

This year, we are deeply honored to present the 2026 vou Llawi dalit Award to:

🌺 Rosella “Rosie” Moon
🌿 Kelly Goodwin

Your journeys, your resilience, and your dedication have made a lasting impact on our community. You truly have “walked a long way,” and we can’t wait to see where your paths lead next. 💛

Congratulations, Rosie and Kelly! We’re so proud of you! 🎉👏

✨ Both are off to Cal Poly Humboldt Department of Social Work next year to continue their education.

On this Farmworkers Day, we pause to honor the thousands of brave, hardworking, incredible organizers, strikers, and advocates who worked (and continue to work) tirelessly to protect the rights of farmworkers here in California and throughout the country.

Fifty years ago, Filipino grape pickers walked off vineyards and helped launch the farmworker movement.
