Master’s degree students in ISEN 432: Carbon Removal, Capture recently visited ADM (Archer-Daniels-Midland) in Decatur. ADM is at the forefront of carbon dioxide storage in the US, and students got to see its facilities up close. Amanda Raddatz, deputy director for environmental policy at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, teaches the course and brings a wealth of real-world experience.

"Defects in perovskite solar cells come in many different forms," said lead author Donghoon Shin.
