NUANCE Center at Northwestern University Northwestern University's Atomic and Nanoscale Characterization Experimental Center The Center serves both Northwestern and the greater scientific community.

NUANCE was established during 2001-02 to integrate complementary
equipment and capabilities at Northwestern. An operationally- and fiscally-efficient solution to the increasing need for advanced analytical and characterization instrumentation, the Center leverages its staff’s technical expertise to assist researchers in the physical sciences, engineering, and interdisciplinary fields.
