This October, with purpose!

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated encourages you to make breast health a priority.

Know your family history and share it with your healthcare provider. Stay current on routine screenings, including mammograms, based on your age and individual risk. Pay attention to changes in your breasts and speak with your provider about any concerns. These conversations and screenings can help detect breast cancer earlier, when it is easier to treat.

We stand with our sisters and all those navigating a diagnosis, celebrate our survivors, and honor the lives and memories of those who have transitioned. Their experiences remind us why education, advocacy, and access to quality care remain essential to our work, especially in addressing the health disparities affecting Black women.

Be sure to schedule your screening if you’re due, encourage someone you love to do the same, and support efforts that bring care within reach.

As one sisterhood, we come together to raise awareness, encourage action, and surround those affected by breast cancer with care and support. This October and beyond, let’s continue showing up for ourselves and one another.

❤️ The ENSA Experience: Connect • Restore • Build ❤️

What a day of sisterhood, connection, reflection, and a little fun!

From connecting across generations and celebrating our Delta Dear Hearts & 13 New Starts to exploring our service area through Passport to Sisterhood, engaging in meaningful conversations at the World Café, and finding moments of restoration in the RestorHER Lounge, our Sisterhood Retreat last month reminded us of the beauty and power of being connected.

We laughed, we learned, we reflected, and most importantly, we strengthened the bonds that make ENSA special.

A heartfelt thank you to every Soror who attended, volunteered, facilitated, and helped bring this experience to life. Your presence and participation made the day meaningful.

The retreat may be over, but our journey of sisterhood continues! ❤️

Sorors, We have an exciting update for The ENSA Experience: Connect • Restore • Build Sisterhood Retreat!

To make the retreat more accessible and allow even more sorors to join us, we have adjusted the retreat schedule. Saturday, September 19, 2026

NEW TIME: 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. We heard you! We know a full-day commitment can be difficult, so we have condensed the retreat while keeping the heart of the experience intact. This will be a day intentionally designed for us to connect, restore, laugh, reflect, fellowship, and strengthen our sisterhood.

Whether you have been actively engaged, are looking for an opportunity to reconnect, or simply need some quality time with your sorors, there is a place for you at the retreat. If the length of the day was keeping you from registering, we hope this new schedule makes it possible for you to join us. Come spend the day with your sorors and be part of The ENSA Experience. Connect • Restore • Build.
