Northwestern University Choirs Under the leadership of Dr. Andrew Megill and Dr. A.J. Led by Director of Choral Organizations, Dr. Andrew Megill. Keller.

Keller, the choirs of The Bienen School of Music at Northwestern perform a diverse repertoire of music from the early Renaissance through today. Northwestern Choral Ensembles include:

Bienen Contemporary/Early Vocal Ensemble
B.C.E. - the initials could easily stand for Beyond the Common Era or Before the Common Era; the approx. 24-voice ensemble sings a highly specialized, virtuosic repertoire fo

r advanced choral singers, concentrating on music of the 21st century and drawing relationships to its polyphonic roots in early music, primarily that of the Renaissance. University Chorale
University Chorale is a large mixed-voice ensemble comprised of graduate and undergraduate students, devoted to performing a diverse selection of works, including several annual collaborations with the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra in masterworks and music of the 21st century. University Chorale occasionally serves as the chorus for Northwestern's opera productions. Led by Associate Director of Choral Organizations, Dr. A.J. University Singers
University Singers is a mixed-voice ensemble comprised of first- and second-year music majors and advanced non-majors. The members of University Singers develop a high level of choral skill through the study and performance of a wide variety of choral music, covering all historical eras. Women's Choir
Women's Choir is comprised of students from all academic disciplines across campus who come together to form a community that explores music of all eras for women's voices. Conducted annually by a doctoral student in Choral Conducting. Alice Millar Chapel Choir
The Alice Millar Chapel Choir is made up of a select group of students from all schools of the University. The Alice Millar Chapel Choir performs oratorios and choral-orchestral masterworks from many eras. Repertoire also includes a cappella and accompanied sacred compositions in many styles and languages. This ensemble performs for weekly non-denominational services at Alice Millar Chapel and in special concerts.
