From Cambodia to Everett, Phannmannavy “Navy” Phorn is building a future in tech!

An active student leader at Everett Community College, Navy is involved in MESA, TRiO, Student LIFE and STEM Club. She plans to transfer to the University of Washington to study computer science and use her passion for technology, content creation and community impact to make a difference.

Come celebrate the opening of Everett Community College’s new Welcome Center!

Join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, followed by an open house until 2 p.m. Enjoy free snacks, explore the new space and discover all that EvCC has to offer.

Learning extends beyond the classroom at Everett Community College! 🌿

In this summer’s English 102 course, students explored land use, natural resource management and sustainability while volunteering with the U.S. Forest Service, Washington Department of Natural Resources and local parks.

On Jetty Island, students rolled up their sleeves to remove invasive Scotch broom and help protect the natural environment. 🌱

Through hands-on learning, research and advocacy, EvCC students are learning how they can make a difference in the lands and communities they call home.
