TCNJ Physics Department Welcome to the Physics Department at The College of New Jersey! We provide our students with comprehensive curriculum and excellent research opportunities.

We invite you to learn about our outstanding students and faculty and to explore our program, our facilities, and the opportunities available to our students. If you have questions for us, don’t hesitate to send an email. The physics major can, by proper choice of electives, prepare for graduate work in physics, astronomy, geophysics, atmospheric science, materials science, environmental science,

or professional schools such as medicine or law. Many of our graduates choose to work in industry, public service, or teaching. Physics-secondary education program graduates are certified to teach in NJ high schools.
