Congratulations to alumna, Susan Reinhard ‘73, PhD, RN, FAAN. Susan was named a 2026 Living Legend by the American Academy of Nursing, one of the organization’s highest honors, recognizing just six nurse leaders nationally for their extraordinary, sustained contributions to health policy, science, and care delivery. She received this honor at the Academy’s annual Health Policy Conference in Washington, DC earlier this month. Susan is Chair of the Board of Trustees for RWJBarnabas Health, Emeritus Chief Strategist, Center to Champion Nursing in America at AARP and Visiting Professor with the Betty Irene Fellowship for Nurse Leaders and Innovators at UC Davis Sacramento.

Congratulations to Mariah Schmelzle ’21 and Joseph Landeira ’21 on their marriage on May 23, 2026 at the Conservatory at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, New Jersey!

The two met as freshmen in a 2017 TCNJ engineering seminar, then later bonded junior year over study sessions and late-night Wawa runs. After staying connected through pandemic FaceTime study sessions and text, the pair started dating senior year, and the rest is history. Now engineers in the Philadelphia area, they’ve spent post-grad life conquering graduate school, career pivots, marathon training, and every adventure in between.
