🌧️Instead of evaporating or absorbing into the soil, stormwater runoff enters our storm drain systems! This means any contaminants found on the ground will also lead into our drainage systems heading to the Chesapeake Bay. Remember to properly dispose of all trash and pet waste! ♻️Don’t let trash get you down! Check out the Bigbelly stations on campus. Fun fact, the installation of the combination waste/recycling/compost units was able to replace 10 - 12 traditional waste and recycling bins from the Starbucks patio. 💚🌱
