Read what Alum Alisa Gregory has to say about being a professional dancer during a pandemic!

“To be a company dancer during these hard times comes with so many emotions. The first is pure gratitude. It is a blessing to still have the opportunity to move and create. With that it is also a huge responsibility. Since so many companies and dancers are not able to work, it is on us who can to continue pushing through for this art form. Creating art that matters and working to touch our communities in an honest way. I'm proud to be working under the direction of Tiffany Rea-Fisher who is doing the exact work that needs to be done. Thank you George Mason School of Dance for your continued support!”

Giving a warm welcome to the new School of Dance Director, Karen Reedy!

“These are truly challenging times in our world, higher-education and particularly the arts. With that said, these times also provide great opportunity for creativity and innovation. Our world-class faculty and talented students are re-imagining possibilities for our art form, while pushing our dance field into the future! I am truly honored to lead the School of Dance during this time and into the next phase, as we continue the incredible trajectory built by my predecessor Susan Shields."
