Reminder #3: Our MASUN Gives Initiative! We will be raising money for the Partnership for Global Security. We will be selling snacks, water, and other items during the conference to raise money.

Reminder #2: Please have your position papers printed so your chairs to grade them. It is also a smart idea to have an extra one printed as a reference for committee debate.

Reminder #1: Western Business Attire is required the entire weekend! If you are in a crisis committee, your chair and crisis director will go over their policies in regards to dressing as the position that you are assigned. Note: each committee may have different rules about this.

Every year our Secretary-Generals graduate and become successful in the workforce. However, this Secretary-General just cannot stay away! We would like to welcome back the Secretary-General of MASUN XXVI, Zachary Wood. Zachary graduated from George Mason University in 2016 with a BA in Government and International Politics. While studying at Mason, Zachary was heavily involved in GMU Model UN. Zachary served as head delegate on multiple occasions and competed at conferences in Boston, Atlanta, Washington, and Williamsburg. Outside of his current job in state-level government, Zachary enjoys spending his free time camping in one of Virginia's many state parks, his favorite being Grayson Highlands State Park in Grayson County. Zachary is excited to return to MASUN as a chair for the Ad-hoc Committee. Welcome back Zachary and we cannot wait to see you this weekend!

Our next chair shoutout is also no stranger to MASUN, Anastasia Edwards. Anastasia is a Junior, majoring in Human Development and Family Science. This is her third year with MASUN and served on the Secretariat last year as our Deputy-Director General to raise money for our MASUN Gives program. Interesting facts about Anastasia is she is currently interning at the Association for Maternal Child Health Programs and has never eatten an orange!
