The 2020 Mason Leadership Summit: Innovative Leadership for Adult Learners aged 25+ and Student Parents of any age will take place on Saturday, March 21st from 9:00am-2:00pm in Merten Hall.

As a result of participating in the 2020 Mason Leadership Summit: Innovative Leadership for Adult Learners and Student Parents, attendees will:

• Engage with other adult learners and/or student parents in discussions around emotional intelligence and leadership that does not require a title or formal position
• Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of emotional intelligence and how it connects to one’s own leadership style as an adult learner and/or student parent
• Broaden their perspectives on leadership and the importance of non-positional leadership
• Recommend positive changes at Mason for adult learners and student parents
• Establish at least one new supportive relationship while participating in the summit

George Mason University will be hosting our annual Math and Literacy Coaching Institute on Saturday, February 29th from 9:00-3:30pm on our SciTech campus in Manassas, Virginia. The cost to attend is $35 and includes coffee, lunch, parking, and all conference materials. This is an exciting event for teachers, coaches, and district leaders to come together to share ideas. Participants will receive 5 recertification credits through VDOE.
