The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present its sixth class of 40 Under 40 Honorees. This is a celebration of incredible individuals, their successes in various industries, and their impact on the thriving Alexandria community.

Leigh St. Clair Poole (MEd in Special Education) was recognized as a 2022 Honoree. Poole is a dual-certified special and general education first grade teacher at Alexandria Country Day School (ACDS). In the fall, she will transition to a learning specialist role at ACDS. During the pandemic, Poole founded the St. Clair Learning Center. She co-founded the award-winning Speech of Cake Summer Camp in 2016 and is the camp’s lead teacher specializing in literacy for special needs children. Poole has previously been awarded teacher of the year and has led many committees to promote student learning.

Congratulations on this recognition!
