Welcome! The Office of Global Affairs (OGA) offers a variety of study abroad opportunities for SHU and visiting students around the world.

There is no better way to learn about yourself, expand your worldview, acquire marketable skills, and develop the habits of mind, heart, and spirit that will prepare you to engage purposefully in a global world. Expand your college experience through a program that's right for you.

• We offer more than 100 programs in over 30 countries.
• Spend a semester, a year, a month, or two weeks abroad

earning academic credit and gaining the kind of knowledge only a study abroad experience can provide.
• Courses completed on a SHU study abroad program may fulfill general education, elective, or major/minor credits, enabling you, no matter your academic plan, to study abroad and graduate according to your schedule. Planning plays a big part in making a study abroad experience successful. We encourage you to participate in our informational events, browse our website, and visit our knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. We are passionate about providing you with seasoned, supportive advising and helping you find program that matches your needs.

Hello everyone! My name is Amy Jennings, and I started working as the Study Abroad Coordinator in the Office of Global Education a couple months ago. Last week I had a wonderful experience visiting our campus in Di**le, Ireland and wanted to share some photos and introduce myself. I studied abroad in London during my senior year of college which sparked an interest to work in international education. I’ve been in the field full-time for a few years now and am excited to be supporting SHU students navigating the study abroad process. Looking forward to connecting with more of you this academic year!
