Using advanced imaging and 3D modeling, their research compares primate and human anatomy to better understand the systems that influence hearing, balance, movement, and behavior.

Caitlyn Shanley ’27 got a behind-the-scenes look at how organizations turn ideas into action. 💼

As a psychology major in Fairfield Meditz, Caitlyn spent 12 weeks this summer at Knights of Columbus, gaining experience in enterprise planning, process improvement, and organizational change management. Through planning, documentation, and employee listening sessions, she saw how communication and collaboration help organizations navigate change.

Fairfield University's Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing gives students the flexibility to pursue their interests across fiction, poetry, nonfiction, or screenwriting, while exploring areas such as publishing and editing, spiritual writing , and literary health and healing.

Students also join a supportive community of writers, with alumni and students having published more than 80 books.

During their visit, the Fairfield University Alumni learned about current student projects, explored new research technology, and saw how their continued support is expanding hands-on opportunities in chemistry and biochemistry.

Lucy Crowley ’27 spent the summer putting her communication skills into practice during a 10-week fellowship with Marriott International's Global Internal Communications team.

Throughout the summer, Lucy contributed to communication initiatives, developed strategic plans, and presented recommendations to leadership. The experience challenged Lucy to think strategically, expand her skills, and grow her confidence as a communicator while gaining firsthand experience in global internal communications.

Andrew Jamieson ’26 has turned his passion for baseball into a professional experience. Now a Master of Arts (MA) in Communication candidate, the Fairfield Meditz graduate contributes to Sports Illustrated’s Mets On SI, covering the New York Mets—the same team he grew up watching.

From Fairfield Athletics broadcasts with WVOF to reporting on MLB storylines, Andrew is gaining the experience and confidence to pursue a career in sports media.

Ryan Morgenstern '26 spent the summer capturing content for all nine Bon Jovi concerts at Madison Square Garden, documenting everything from backstage preparations and stage transformations to fan experiences and live performances.

Throughout the concert run, Ryan created content featured across Bon Jovi's social media channels while gaining hands-on experience in live event production and digital storytelling.
