Thirty-seven years after earning her master’s degree from Fairfield, Ilene Bosch MA’89 finally had the chance to walk across the stage at Commencement.

After missing her graduation in 1989 while balancing her career and family, Bosch returned to Fairfield at age 79 to celebrate the accomplishment surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her full-circle moment reflects a lesson she has carried throughout her life: learning never ends.

Mary Alice Limperopulos ’13 and Wiktor Woźniak ’12 tied the knot on campus on Oct. 4, 2025, beginning a new chapter in their Fairfield love story. One year later, they’re celebrating their first anniversary and the memories they’ve made along the way.

Their love story began at Fairfield University, and on June 13, Meaghan Tully ’18 and Michael Caiola ’18 began a new chapter as husband and wife. ❤️

Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow Stags, they celebrated their wedding day with many of the Fairfield University friends who have been part of their story from the start. 🦌💍

Golden Stags gathered back on campus for milestone reunions, a campus update, and a walk down memory lane filled with Fairfield University yearbooks and memorabilia.❤️ 🦌

As part of the 75th reunion celebration, Joan Bolger P’90,’81 was presented with an award honoring her late husband, Bob Bolger ’51, PhD. Bob was the first Fairfield University alumnus to return to work at the University and went on to serve as a professor for more than 50 years.

Jason LaRue ’99, who earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Fairfield University, has been named Vice Chair of Talent & Culture at KPMG. With more than two decades at KPMG and five years at Bank of America, Jason will now lead talent and culture strategies and human resources for KPMG’s 35,000-person firm.

KPMG US has promoted Jason LaRue to vice chair of talent and culture.

Amanda Blair ’20 and Alex Hartzell ’20 were married in Long Island on June 27, 2026, bringing their Fairfield University community together to celebrate the start of their next chapter. 🦌❤️

Fairfield University prepared Alex Witkus ’15, MS’16 for more than the baseball diamond. ⚾️

An accounting major, former Division I baseball player, and team captain while he was at Fairfield University, Alex is now putting his athletic and business experience to work as co-founder of The Stable Strength & Conditioning with his wife, Annie. The new gym is set to open this fall in Maryland, with its grand opening planned for this October.

An old Blockbuster in Edgewater is about to become a strength and conditioning gym run by a farming family.

After graduating from Fairfield and launching a nearly 40-year career on Wall Street, Fran Reed ’86, P’23 returned to Stag Country to share his experience with the next generation.

Now a professor of the practice in finance, Reed is teaching and mentoring today’s Stags while continuing his own Fairfield education as a student in the Executive Doctorate of Business Administration program.
