Real-world transactions gave Brendan Crowley ’27 an inside look at the financial industry during his summer internship with Computershare.

Working in the Corporate Actions department, Brendan gained firsthand exposure to the processes behind financial transactions and developed a broader understanding of how corporate actions fit into the industry, giving him a new perspective to bring back to his studies in finance and management while building on his knowledge outside the classroom.

At Steelcase, Charlotte Romano ’27 spent her summer exploring how design, storytelling, and communication come together. 🏢🦌

Through her internship, Charlotte gained hands-on experience in space planning, material selection, and interior aesthetics while presenting design concepts to clients and key stakeholders. She also collaborated with fellow interns to gather feedback and increase awareness of Steelcase’s B2B e-commerce platform.

The experience helped Charlotte strengthen skills she’ll carry into her studies as a marketing major at Fairfield Dolan—from understanding audiences and presenting ideas to using storytelling to create meaningful connections.

For 10 weeks this summer, Sofia Miguel Varino ’27 worked on Burlington’s Baby Essentials Buying team, analyzing sales, tracking trends, shopping competitors, and meeting with vendors throughout New York City to build future assortments.

The experience connected Sofia’s fashion concentration with her studies as a marketing and international business double major in Fairfield Dolan, showing her how product, price, trends, timing, and the customer all influence a buying decision.

Amanda Cavallo ’27, a marketing major, spent eight weeks this summer as a Summer Sales Intern at ADP, where she gained hands-on experience in business development and client relations.

Amanda supported the promotion of HR, retirement, and workers’ compensation solutions while strengthening her communication and relationship-building skills. During her internship, she contributed more than $3,000 in sales while gaining valuable insight into building strong client relationships.

The program carries forward Papillo’s legacy of mentorship and leadership by providing Fairfield students with hands-on experience in wealth management and opportunities to build meaningful professional connections.

From the ballpark to the classroom, Jillian Koppy ’28 is bringing her experience back to Fairfield Dolan after a summer as a Social Media intern in the Cape Cod Baseball League. ⚾️

A marketing major, Jillian spent the summer working with the Falmouth Commodores on their social media content, gaining hands-on experience in sports marketing, content creation, and fan engagement. From creating graphics and brainstorming content to capturing game-day moments, Jillian experienced the many sides of sports marketing.

A 10-week marketing internship at Vineyard Vines gave Frank Panissidi ’27 the opportunity to work across content creation, filming, video editing, and event marketing. The marketing and finance double major contributed to brand initiatives, including the 126th U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills and a Fourth of July Jeep activation in the Hamptons, while creating content for Vineyard Vines’ platforms. 🌊 🤳
