Wrapping up the semester with pride in our graduating Falcon Surveyors! All of these students graduated today as dual majors in Suveying and Geomatics Engineering Technology and Civil Engineering Technology, along with a minor in GIS!!!

From fieldwork to final projects, our crew showed what it means to be leaders in geospatial sciences and surveying excellence. We’re excited for what’s ahead for you all and we’ll be watching your careers take off from here!

Congratulations to our Surveying Capstone class for successfully completing their final presentation! ✅ They spent the semester completing exterior and interior boundary surveys at Woodlawn Cemetery to determine a potential location for public green burial sites. These students (Sheridan Bonner, Abbie Eakle, Justin Jones, Sarah Robinette, Erich Sening, and Canaan Toothman) were advised by Professors Don Teter and Kaden Statler. Great work, everyone! 🥳

Students in Professor Statler’s Advanced Surveying Dendrology class had a blast exploring the unique trees of Maple Grove Cemetery! 🌳 They even found a USGS marker from 1941.
