🌿 Ballot Question 8: Repealing recreational ma*****na sales

This question would repeal the 2016 ballot measure that legalized the sale of recreational ma*****na in Massachusetts. If passed, it would eliminate current laws permitting recreational ma*****na sales and home cultivation and establish new possession limits and civil penalties.

A "yes" vote repeals recreational ma*****na sales and cultivation. A "no" vote keeps the current legal ma*****na market in place.

🏠 Question 7: Zoning for smaller lots

This question would allow single-family homes to be built on residentially zoned lots as small as 5,000 square feet — smaller than many current local zoning minimums allow.

Supporters connect it to housing affordability and supply; opponents raise concerns about local zoning control and neighborhood density. A "yes" vote allows the smaller lot sizes statewide; a "no" vote leaves current local zoning minimums in place.

🌲 Question 6: Funding for conservation

This question would direct revenue from the sales tax on sporting goods, recreational vehicles, and golf courses toward natural resources conservation.

A "yes" vote dedicates that tax revenue to conservation funding. A "no" vote keeps it in the general fund as usual.

đź’° Question 5: Limiting state revenue growth

This question would cap how much revenue the state can collect each year. Any amount collected above that cap would be refunded to taxpayers.

Supporters frame it as a check on government growth; opponents raise concerns about funding public services. A "yes" vote puts the revenue cap and refund system in place; a "no" vote keeps the current system.

đź“… Question 4: Same-day voter registration

Currently, Massachusetts requires voters to register in advance of Election Day. This question asks whether residents should be allowed to register and vote on the same day — Election Day itself.
