What a beautiful evening of community and connection!
Tonight, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with our Lowrider Drive-In Movie Night, and seeing the parking lot filled with lowriders, families, friends and students was truly something special.Lowriding is so much more than beautiful cars. It carries history, creativity, pride, familia and culture. Getting to celebrate that culture together, surrounded by an incredible lineup of lowriders as the sun set and Lowriders played on the blow-up screen, made for a pretty unforgettable evening.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to show up and support the work of ENLACE and the Herencia Latina Center. Whether you attend an event, bring your family, share our posts, bring out your cars, volunteer, partner with us, or simply tell someone about what we are doing….your support matters.

These events are about creating spaces where our culture is seen, celebrated and shared, and we couldn’t do that without our community.

You’ve seen these beautiful lowriders at several of our events, join us this next Tuesday for “History and Culture of Lowriders” where we’ll continue the conversation and take a closer look at the history, culture, artistry and community behind lowriding from leaders in our very own lowriding community!
We hope to see you there! 💜

When Mesa Verde Elementary School invited us to present to their k-5 grade students, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share about Hispanic Heritage month! With help from some amazing community partners like DreamZ car club New Mexico and beyond and Carrasco Dance Productions, students had the opportunity to learn and experience folkloric dancing, lowriders and their impacts across our communities, the foods, traditions, clothing and other components that make our cultures so rich and exciting! It was so much fun and truly appreciate opportunities like these!

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!!
