The Cormier Honors College is where interdisciplinary and integrative learning happen in a compassionate community. We're interdisciplinary in that we combine different fields and modes of inquiry together so that learning is multidimensional rather than unidimensional (i.e., you'll examine and understand the world through multiple rather than one disciplinary lens). Integrative in that your learn

ing will happen not only in the classroom but during an internship, at an international event, completing a research project and participating in a service experience (i.e., your learning will occur across different contexts and circumstances and over time). Compassionate in that we believe that helping others is the most effective path toward attaining personal and professional success. We'll help you take a question that you wish/want to answer and help you discover multiple and unique solutions across different fields and through a variety of experiences.

Today's Incoming Student Spotlight is Rebecca St Peter '30, a History Education Major, with hopes of one day becoming a teacher. From Carrsville, Virginia, Rebecca enjoys video games (particularly Pokémon and Palworld), drawing, reading, theater, singing, and dancing! One fun fact about Rebecca is she loves to learn about Prussia and Fredrick the Great. Looking forward to have you in Honors.

Today's Incoming Student Spotlight is Jordan Costello '30 (.komodo) a History and Theater Education Major with hopes of one day teaching both History and Theater. From Yorktown, Virginia, Jordan enjoys writing, playing video games, choir, theater and I like watching anime. One fun fact about Jordan is that his family owns 11 dogs. We cannot wait to see what heights you reach with Honors!

Today's Incoming Student Spotlight is Julia Williams '30 () a Biology Pre-Med major with hopes of attending Dental school post graduation. From Chesapeake, Virginia, Julia loves playing guitar, listening to music, working out, playing pickle ball, spending time in the sun, and hanging out with friends! One fun fact about Julia is that she will be rooming with her two older sisters who are also in the Honors College. We look forward to rounding out the Williams family!

From Prince George, Virginia, Sadie loves to play tennis. she also enjoys being creative and crafty. On fun fact about Sadie is that her favorite Holiday is July 4th! Today's Incoming Student Spotlight is Lance Zeytoonian '30 () a Elementary/Middle Education major, with a concentration in English. Post graduation Lance wants to get a masters and teach abroad. From Springfield, Virginia, Lance loves hanging out with friends, going to the gym, rock climbing, and playing video games, especially Pokémon showdown. One fun fact about Lance is that when he was younger, he lived overseas in Tajikistan for 2 1/2 years. We cannot wait to have you in Farmville.

Today's Incoming Student Spotlight is Kate Maness '30 (), a History major, with aspirations to one day work as a museum director. From Bentonville, Arkansas , Kate loves to play softball, travel, read, and spend time with her dogs, friends, and family. One fun fact about Kate is she is a 3 time state champion in softball. We look forward to welcoming you to Longwood.

Today's Incoming Student Spotlight is Melody Zeiner '30 (), a Mathematics major with a concentration in secondary education. Post graduation, Melody wants to teach high school math! She originally grew up in Chester, but recently moved to Dinwiddie, Virginia. Melody loves sports and actually managed her high school basketball team. She also spends a lot of her free time practicing visual art, mostly acrylic paint. One fun fact about Melody is that she loves animals, and frequently uses her cats as her subjects in her art! We look forward to seeing what your creativity will bring to Honors.

"Today's Incoming Student Spotlight is Addison Fiore '30, a Special Education major with hopes of minoring in Psychology. Post graduation, Addison hopes to find a job at a school close to her home in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In here spare time, Addison enjoy being out in nature, Listening to music, reading, sketching and Hanging out with friends. She is also very into Colorguard and hopes to join .guard and . One fun fact about about Addison is she has a pet rabbit named Lola! Looking forward to have you join our community.

Today's Incoming Student Spotlight is Tennessee Groff '30 (), a Business Administration major with a concentration in accounting. Post graduation, Tennessee hopes to pursue a masters in Business! Originally from Pennsylvania, but now from Chatham, Virginia, Tennessee loves to build PCs and Legos, write poetry, and play video games. He also loves Transformers, reading, science, and random facts about the world. One Fun fact about Tennessee is he can do a good Stitch and Elmo impression. We look forward to seeing what impression you leave on Honors!
