Hi, everyone! Just want to check in and see how all my UIU babies are doing. Steve and I are doing well. Steve works long hours as the meat guy at Fareway, and I am self-quarantined due to diabetes with limited visits with close family. We have learned to enjoy life under new conditions. So far, covid19 hasn't taken over rural Iowa areas yet.

How is your part of the world? The international relationships I made at UIU are so precious to me. I miss my American students as well.

Use your voice for good.

Mama misses all of you so much! Let us know how you're doing and what you've been up to. Most of you know I lost my mom Sept. 6, so I've been grieving, which is HARD WORK. Her death triggered buried memories from my son Brandon's death, so I have had some very sad moments. I also lost my job at UIU as well as my job at Thein Therapy. LOSS IS HARD! I'm in limbo as I wait for my next calling, which looks to be grief support facilitator. I am still available anytime you need support. I love hearing from you, and my time at UIU was such a blessing BECAUSE OF YOU. Keep a song in your heart and trust in your dreams for the future.

Mom is comatose with that rattle in her throat. The hospice nurse says it could be minutes or days. Time to love
