In this addition to the Faculty Highlight Series, Dr. Song discusses her research involving a grant she received from the National Institute of Health to investigate fibrotic scar formation in spinal cord injuries. This research is a part of Dr. Song's lab where she works as a leader and mentor for undergraduate and graduate students to, hopefully, find novel therapies for those with spinal cord injuries.
