Join us this week for the unveiling of a unique group art exhibition that is free and open to the public! 🦁🖼️

🎨 MU’s Division of Communication, Art, & Design will be hosting an Opening Reception for “𝙇𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙒𝙞𝙨𝙙𝙤𝙢: 𝘼𝙣 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙁𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧, 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙗𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣” at the David McCune International Art Gallery on Thursday, Oct. 15 (6-9 p.m.). 💚

The Exhibit will also be open during regular business hours (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Dec. 4.

Meet Jin Nathan Swun, a student in the Class of 2030 at the Methodist University Cape Fear Valley Health School of Medicine.

A passion for research is already shaping his experience in medicine. Swun is a co-author of a case report published in JAAD Case Reports, exploring perioperative local anesthetic and antibiotic considerations for a patient with myasthenia gravis.

From research to the classroom, Swun is building the knowledge and skills that will shape his future as a physician.
