"This summer I worked for Hilti North America as an After Market Services Intern in Irving, TX. My role within the Tool Service Center was to serve as an Assistant Team Lead and to help increase operational efficiencies.

In my free time, you can find me going on hikes, playing board games, attending concerts, or Calling the Hogs! (I also love to read, so please send me your book recs. 🙏🏼)

Currently, I am a Teaching Assistant for Statistics 1. You can typically find me yapping on the 4th floor of Bell! I am very excited to be your Communications Officer this year. Woo Pig!!🐗"

"Hi, IE’s!😊😊😊 This summer, I worked in Houston, TX, as a New Product Development Intern at Powell Industries. I was able to work with electricity, establish testing procedures, troubleshoot issues throughout testing, document data and create a tool for future testing, and deliver a 15-minute presentation to senior management. I will be returning in July 2025 as an R&D Engineer!⚡️⚡️

In my free time, I love to cook, read, and enjoy anything outdoors. I just finished the Fourth Wing series and can’t wait for the third book to be released!

I’m a third-time returning Peer Mentor for First-Year Engineering, and I’ve served as Sophomore Representative and Communications Officer for IISE. I’m so happy to continue serving IISE as Secretary this year! WDP!!!🐽🐽🐽"

You know what day it is! It's time for another . This week, we are introducing our treasurer, Luke Montgomery. Hear from Luke below!👇

"This summer, I worked in Rogers, AR, for Tyson as a continuous improvement intern at the Tyson of Rogers plant. My focus was diagnosing production problems, suggesting automation solutions, and developing online tools to digitalize and streamline previously manual data collection tasks.

In my free time, I love being outdoors fly fishing, hiking, and hammocking. If I'm not in Imhoff, I’m either at a Razorback basketball game or at a concert. I currently serve as the treasurer for both IISE as well as Alpha Pi Mu so I’m always busy attending the various events we hold.

I’m very excited to serve as your Treasurer for our IISE student chapter this year! Go Hogs!"

This weekend several of our razorbacks had the opportunity to attend the Annual IISE Conference in Montreal. Joined by several of our wonderful faculty, our undergraduates (and recent graduates) presented Capstone projects and honors research. What a wonderful opportunity to represent Arkansas and network with student and professional ISEs!
