e. We are a multi-disciplinary department within the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Students may pursue academic and professional training in performance, music education, composition, musicology, music theory, and electives in business. Our concert hall and other venues are busy with performances by large ensembles, chamber music and solo recitals. We are pleased to present a wide variety of diverse music performed by students, faculty and guest artists. Our department strives to bring an outstanding selection of musical events to the community, offering several free recitals and concerts every year. This web site is designed to answer many questions you may have about the music department at the University of Arkansas. Additional questions may be directed to the music office or our faculty members. We hope you’ll join us for any of our wonderful performances. Dr. Ronda Mains

Tomorrow, April 9th is One Day, One U of A! Music75, sending University of Arkansas music students and faculty to all 75 Arkansas counties to give performances, was chosen as one of the day’s projects to support.

You may donate at:

https://www.givecampus.com/schools/UniversityofArkansas/one-day-one-u-of-a-2026

Music75 is Project 23 in the list of options.

All gifts for Music75 up to the first $5000 are being matched by Fayetteville music supporter Cece Box, so this makes giving twice as impactful.

Thank you in helping to make this fundraising drive a success! This will make a big difference in being able to support the travel of students making music across Arkansas.

Best,

Alan Gosman
