We are excited to invite you to the October Professional Development Session of the Collegiate NAfME Chapter at the University of Arkansas!

✨ Session Title: Songwriting and Composing in the Music Classroom

🎤 Clinician: Dr. Anne Fennell

📅 Date/Time: Tuesday, October 15 from 6:15-7:15 PM

📍 Location: MUSC 335 (Choir Room)

Dr. Fennell brings a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to this session. She has 38 years of experience in K–12 music education and leadership, including six years as Music Program Manager for San Diego Unified. She is currently NAfME Western Division President-Elect, Past President of CMEA, and former Chair of the NAfME Innovations Council. Her honors include being a 2016 GRAMMY Finalist, 2017 MSA National Teacher of the Year, and receiving the 2024 NAMM Make Music Award.

This promises to be an engaging and practical session that will provide you with creative tools to use in your future classrooms.

👉 Open to All Students: In accordance with our RSO requirements, this session is open to any student interested in attending, so feel free to invite and bring a friend!
