I, MATTHEW CLEMENTE, AM OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCING MY CANDIDACY FOR PRESIDENT

As the Vice President of Finance, I have been able to get the bag for our chapter which has allowed us to continue having events and keeping our community strong. Without my efforts, our funding situation would have looked grim. As President, I would continue our funding efforts by seeking out sponsorships and continuing our fundraisers. Not only that, I want to offer all of our members more access to connections and job opportunities by forging strong partnerships with companies.

With that being said, I would be honored if you would support me in this endeavor. If you want a stronger chapter with more opportunities, you Better Call Clemente.

Today our SHPE members visited the Leverett Elementary Science and Math Night to teach students about STEM. Through a fun programming experience, the students were able to use block code to make a lego robot do tricks and dance 🤖
This was a great experience, a big thank you to Leverett Elementary for inviting us and letting us show how STEM can be so much fun!!

Yesterday, our SHPE officers, part of PATH Scholars, volunteered at the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families’ 25th annual Soup Sunday in Rogers. This family-friendly charity event brings the community together to showcase their best soups, with all proceeds going to support children and families in reaching their full potential. Thank you to our incredible SHPE officers for dedicating their time to this amazing cause!
