Founded at the University of Arkansas in 1923 and re-colonized in 2002, the Gamma Chi chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha is the largest Lambda Chi Alpha chapter in the nation. With a 3.187 average in the fall of 2012, we continued a tradition of highest fraternity GPA on the hill. Our men are expected to become leaders, scholars, and servants of the community. Among our members we count numerous Honors C
ollege and Sturgis Fellows, Chancellor's Scholars, as well as leaders in Associated Student Government, Interfraternity Council, and many other campus student organizations. All members contribute at least 12 hours of community service to Northwest Arkansas each semester, and one of our largest philanthropy events collected and distributed over 100,000 lbs of food across the region. Our social calendar is full every semester. It includes our Stoplight Party, Purple ID Semi-formal, Around the World, Eighties Night, Into the Wild camping function, White Rose Formal, and Bahama Mama Row Week festivities, along with numerous sorority functions and events with sorority pledge classes to meet our new associates. Since our recolonization, we've earned the Chancellor's Award of Excellence more often than any chapter on campus, and the International Fraternity has recognized us with the Grand High Alpha, meaning we are the most exemplary chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha in the nation. Most importantly, though, Lambda Chi Alpha offers an unmatched brotherhood experience with a group of the most well-respected young men on campus.
