AACSB is one of the most prestigious and rigorous accrediting bodies for business programs in higher education. Currently, less than one-third of US business programs and only five percent of the world's business programs have earned AACSB accreditation. Receipt of

Day 1 of the Bronco Kick-off at Fayetteville State University is officially in the books, and what a fantastic start to the semester!

We started the morning feeling incredibly inspired thanks to our phenomenal speakers, Dr. Monica Garcia-Perez, Dr. Tamara Colvin, James R. McPherson, JD, MBA along with a series of short, motivating talks from several of our brilliant colleagues.

We are also thrilled to warmly welcome our new faculty and staff members this year, as well as our new Provost, Scott Krawczyk, to the FSU family!
In major news for our academic community, our Chancellor has generously provided seed money to establish a new FSU faculty research grant! This is a tremendous show of support for academic scholarship and innovation, which will be key to expanding our expertise and enriching our teaching community.
Here’s to a semester of growth, innovation, and Bronco pride! Let's make it a great one.

India Frazer (pictured front row, second from left) recently represented Broadwell College at the North Carolina State Government Intern Reception, where she met Governor Josh Stein and connected with state leaders from across North Carolina. Through her internship with the N.C. Department of Information Technology, the MBA candidate is gaining valuable public service experience while navigating career advancement.

Fayetteville State University’s Broadwell College of Business and Economics earned national recognition, with The Princeton Review’s 2027 Top 50 Online MBA Programs on July 14, ranking FSU’s online Master of Business Administration program No. 20 in the nation.

Fayetteville State University’s Dr. Robert W. McGee continues to redefine what is possible. Ranked #1 in the world for research in corporate governance and earnings management, Dr. McGee is also a global leader in accounting ethics, business ethics, and tax evasion research.

With 23 academic degrees, including 13 doctorates, more than 60 published books, over 1,500 scholarly papers, and a place among the Top 10 Economists in the World for research impact, his academic achievements are truly extraordinary.

And his accomplishments extend far beyond the classroom. Since returning to martial arts at age 65, Dr. McGee has captured more than 50 world championships and amassed an incredible 1,118 career gold medals.

At 79 years old, he continues to inspire through scholarship, discipline, and an unwavering curiosity about the world around him. We are proud to celebrate one of Broadwell College’s own and the lasting impact he continues to make globally.
