50 boxes. Nearly 50 volunteers on site. Three organizations. One shared mission

There’s no better way to celebrate Military Appreciation month than this.

Today, in Fayetteville, NC, home of Ft. Bragg and the heartbeat of military service, the Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - North Carolina Zetas and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of North Carolina came together and did something REAL.

50 care boxes, packed with intention, on their way to our deployed Brothers, Sisters, and other service members.

Today, I also had the honor of signing a formal Memorandum of Understanding alongside my Father, State Commander Edward Beard, officially cementing the partnership between Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc - North Carolina and the VFW Of North Carolina.

To every volunteer that showed up, every Brother & Soror that donated, and every VFW Post that opened its doors, THANK YOU.

Personally, this is easily one of the best moments in my career as a Sigma. Felt good! Great energy

It was a pleasure to be in the building as the Eta Theta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc hosted their Inaugural Beautillion. Thank you all for the hospitality, much appreciated!

Honorable Bro. Chris V. Rey delivered an incredible Keynote! While the message was for the 9 young men, one line that hit home for me is that “there is no room for Mediocrity”.

As Sigma Beta Club Members, the young men truly embodied the motto:

“The Next Generation of Leaders Accepting Responsibility and Loving the Challenge”

The young men have bright futures ahead, I look forward to seeing what for future brings!

The STANDARD has been set in a major way! I look forward (and anticipate) this event being replicated across our Great State!

Eventful Saturday,

Travelled to Spartanburg, SC to attend the Celebration of Life for Bro. Kelvin Broadhurst Jr. It was an amazing display of Brotherhood as Brothers from North Carolina & South Carolina joined together to pay our final respects.

Special Shout out to my counterpart from South Carolina, Bro. State Director Kareem Johnson Sr.

From there, travelled up to Greensboro to join my family at the New Member Presentation for the ILLUSTRIOUS Omega Nu Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc at UNCG.

Beautiful memorial service for Bro. Kelvin Broadhurst Jr.

Though it was difficult, the Advisors & Brothers of the ETA Chapter honored the life and legacy of our beloved brother with grace and flawless ex*****on. BROTHERHOOD was on full display.

Thank you to North Carolina A&T State University for granting access to the necessary resources for the service. Thank you to the A&T Football team, A&T Gospel Choir, and other Campus Orgs for their support.

Please continue to lift up his Mother (our soror), the ETA Chapter, his family, and friends through this difficult time.

Great time today at the Sigma Bike Ride for Autism Awareness hosted by the Brothers of Gamma Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.! 🤘🏾

Strong turnout, great energy, and an even greater cause. Events like this remind us what it truly means to serve! Showing up, raising awareness, and supporting our communities in meaningful ways.

Autism affects 1 in 36 children in the U.S., and initiatives like this help bring visibility, understanding, and support to individuals and families navigating Autism.
