e program. Other Ferrum faculty researchers and staff in the program are: Dr. Delia Heck, assistant director and GIS specialist, Dr. Bob Pohlad, algae and invasive weed specialist, Dr. Maria Puccio, chemist, Dr. David Johnson, chemist and Ms. Carol Love, lab and field coordinator. The SMLWQP lab is certified for water quality analysis by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
