On April 17, 2026, Dr. Kahle and pharmacy students from the P1–P3 cohorts participated in an Interprofessional Education (IPE) event alongside PT, OT, and PA students to provide fall prevention education to members at 50North in Findlay, Ohio.

Pharmacy students created and shared educational handouts on medications that may increase fall risk or cause harmful effects if a patient experiences a fall while taking them.

Supported through a fall prevention grant opportunity from the Union County Health Department, this event highlighted the value of interprofessional collaboration in promoting patient safety and community health 💊

Interested in healthcare, science, and helping people? 💊🧪

The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy Summer Camp gives high school students the opportunity to explore pharmacy through hands-on experiences, real-world pharmacy settings, and campus life at Findlay.

Students will:
• Participate in hands-on pharmacy labs
• Visit hospital and community pharmacy sites
• Meet pharmacists, faculty, and pharmacy students
• Explore careers in healthcare and pharmacy
• Experience college life on campus

📅 Session 1: June 7–10
📅 Session 2: June 14–17

Thanks to the generous support of Walgreens, camp tuition is only $250.
