The University of Findlay Western Youth Horsemanship School What this page is about: Getting a chance to FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS !! The youth horsemanship school helps you become a better rider.

You will learn training techniques that will make you and your horse more competitive in any discipline you choose. It is a perfect introduction to the college level Equestrian Studies Program. You will see and use the remarkable facility that houses over 300 horses when the college program is in session. Many of these horses are sent by people to have trained by the students under the guidance of

the instructors. You too can be a part of this amazing program when you are ready for college. During the days you are here attending the horsemanship school you will meet new friends, have a great experience with your horse, and create memories that you will remember your whole life.

The University of Findlay is presenting youth western horsemanship schools to further educate interested riders. The school offers the same techniques that are taught in the University’s Western Equestrian Studies Program.

Clark Bradley Horsemanship Schools started in the '70s when many young horsemen gained tremendous knowledge in the proper care of the horse, showing in various Western events and ethical training principles. As Clark became a faculty member of Findlay College, now the University of Findlay, the Horsemanship schools were transformed into the University of Findlay Horsemanship Schools. With Clark at the helm, until just a few years ago, he passionately and enthusiastically gave each student attending a broad spectrum of his knowledge. Clark also gave each faculty member involved a set curriculum along with teaching techniques that he used effortlessly and effectively, which we are trying to emulate!

As we welcome the advanced riders this week to our school, in tribute to Clark and all his efforts, we are sharing this photo with the students under the arch created in Clark's memory entering into his favorite place to ride here.
