The occupational therapy curriculum is organized around the concepts of humans as occupational beings, the daily performance of occupations, and an understanding of the contextual complexities that are necessary for continual engagement in meaningful occupations.The use of occupation as a therapeutic tool is both a contemporary construct and grounded in the historical and theoretical foundations of the profession.

Interprofessional Education in action! 🧠
UF Health Professions students including Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy participated in an IPE event at 50North to educate older adult community members on fall prevention techniques unique to each discipline! 🏠💊🚶 Way to go on educating community members and learning about other health professions in the process!
