30 years of cultivating community leaders! 🎉
VISION Transylvania celebrated three decades of leadership and community impact on Sunday, Aug. 30, at Keystone Camp in Brevard. Since its inception, Vision Transylvania has empowered hundreds of residents to deepen their knowledge of local systems and collaborate across sectors to address regional challenges.
The celebration brought together alumni, families, community partners, and local leaders for an afternoon of reflection and reconnection. Attendees enjoyed family-friendly activities, a taco bar dinner, and some friendly competition among graduating classes, honoring 30 years of shared commitment to Transylvania County.
Organized in partnership with Blue Ridge and facilitated by Vision Transylvania Executive Director Angela Owen, this 10-month civic learning and leadership program connects participants with leaders and organizations across Transylvania County.
“For 30 years, Vision Transylvania has served as a launchpad for informed, connected leadership,” said Jessica Stepp Edney, director of Blue Ridge’s Transylvania County Campus and Vision board member. “Bringing together three decades of alumni allows us to celebrate the profound impact our graduates have had on Transylvania County and one another.”
