🌍 Study Abroad in London – Virtual Information Session! 🇬🇧
Have you ever considered studying abroad while expanding your understanding of counseling from a global perspective?
The University of North Alabama's Counselor Education program is offering an exciting Study Abroad experience in London in May 2027!
Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about this unique opportunity to explore a new culture, connect counseling theory to global practice, and grow both personally and professionally.

UNA Counselor Education Alumni and Community Partners,
We are excited to share a new opportunity—and you are invited!
The UNA Department of Counselor Education is planning its first international learning experience to London, England, May 10–17, 2027, and participation is open to current students, alumni, and counseling and mental health professionals in our community.
This experience brings together counseling, mental health, culture, professional learning, and international travel. The tentative itinerary includes professional visits exploring global perspectives on mental health and counseling practice, the role of public systems in mental health service delivery, and visits to the Freud Museum and Museum of the Mind.
And, of course, we will experience London! The itinerary also includes a London walking tour, the British Museum, Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral, the Tower of London, and a guided River Thames tour.

We will discuss the tentative itinerary, estimated costs, payment schedule, application process, travel arrangements, and other important details. Attending the information session does not commit you to participating.
Whether you graduated from UNA last year or many years ago, supervise our students in the field, work alongside us in the counseling community, or simply want to experience an international mental health and counseling-focused trip, we would love for you to consider traveling with us.
