Great time with a fun-loving and diverse group of students from Dr. Ward’s Death and Dying in Social Context course. On October 27, they traveled to Charleston, SC for a night-time, two-hour walking tour of Magnolia Cemetery. The tour guide provided a fascinating history of Charleston’s unique burial customs, and everyone returned with a few ghost stories to tell as well! Many thanks to the Ready to Experience Applied Learning (REAL) program and the Department of Sociology at FMU for helping to fund this special trip!!
