FROM NUMBERS TO IMPACT πŸ“Š

Data tells a story. Great leaders use it to change the ending.

School and district leaders are surrounded by data, but knowing the numbers is only the beginning. Join UNA RIC for From Numbers to Impact and learn practical strategies for turning ACAP data into action that drives student achievement and school transformation.

Learn from a leader who helped move a high poverty school from an F to a B on the state report card while achieving 100% proficiency in 3rd grade ACAP Reading.

You’ll explore how to:
β€’ Turn data into meaningful action
β€’ Lead courageous conversations
β€’ Use data to inform instruction
β€’ Build a learning culture that moves students forward

What a busy and productive day at the UNA-RIC! πŸ’œπŸ’›πŸ¦πŸ’›πŸ’œ

A huge thank you to the ALSDE staff who facilitated today’s sessions and shared their time, knowledge, and expertise. Your work makes such a difference and we are grateful for all you do! Casey Tate, Jonathan Thompson, Charissa Lambert, Monica Farris, Robin Stutts and Maria Franco.

A special thank you to UNA for continuing the amazing Lucky Dip tradition! πŸŽ‰ I was so excited to be able to take part todayβ€”it was such a fun and memorable part of an already fantastic day. UNA Spencer College of Education and Human Sciences

We wrapped up the day with an amazing NBCT Information Session, facilitated by Dr. Lisa Holley Clayton and our new NBCT Mentors, Robin McDonald Thompson and Deidra Reid Brewer. It was wonderful to share information, answer questions, and encourage educators who are considering taking the next step in their National Board journey. We are excited about the impact these new mentors will have in supporting Alabama educators!

And, of course, thank you to all of the people working behind the scenes who make days like today possible. From planning and preparation to the countless details that often go unseen, your hard work does not go unnoticed.

It was a full day, but such a rewarding one! Feeling grateful for the collaboration, learning, and connections made today. πŸ’œ
