The goodest boy on film this year? Argos 🐾

If you’ve seen The Odyssey, you may have found yourself thinking about him after the movie. You may have even recognized his name from the veterinary hospital, where Argus is the name of our veterinary client support service for people navigating the illness, uncertainty, and loss that can come with caring for an animal.

We asked Dr. Evan Elkins why this appearance by Odysseus’ faithful dog can have such an emotional impact, and why the film’s version of Argos hits differently than Homer’s original poem.
