His brother Gonzo is on the massage table and his sister Skya is in the background. Video description/background: Antoine is a 14 year-old Siberian husky that is receiving a massage at home. Antoine is extremely relaxed and looks up with gratitude to his massage therapist and snuggles in closer. Antoine was born with the neospora parasite that left him paralyzed by six months of age. A Kansas City animal advocate, Janet Curran, rescued Antoine out of the shelter system and brought him to Colorado State University for treatment. After surgery and extensive rehab rehabilitation, Antoine did indeed walk again despite all the odds that were stacked against him.

It’s a Throwback Thursday viral moment with our cherished and departed Axel 🌈😇🩷

Axel can’t swim with her wheelchair so she is detached before running to enter the pond.

Guess who was the strongest swimmer in the pack? That’s right was Axel. At 13 1/2 years old here, it kept her upper body strong. 💪

Video description/background: Axel’s hind legs became paralyzed several years ago after a car accident. Her owner could no longer care for her and she found her way here. Axel’s rear legs are wrapped in multiple layers of padding and a layer of bright orange tape to avoid any abrasions to her rear limbs. She enters the pond and swims with ease at the latter part of the video. This video was shot on Labor Day 2023.

Since April 6, 2024, this handsome black Goldendoodle has been rolling through rescue, watching other dogs find their families while he gets passed by. Two years is far too long for a boy this special.

Tango uses a wheelchair, but don’t let that fool you—he is fast, happy, and has 100% of that classic, loving doodle personality. He has the curls, the wheels, and a massive heart of gold ready to share with his perfect human.

It takes two to Tango, and he just needs one person to open their heart and give him the home he has earned over the last 857 days. Let’s get this boy the forever family he deserves!
