Homecoming and Family Weekend is officially underway! 🔔🐏

We’re proud to welcome our GOLD Distinguished Alumni Award recipient Dexter Beasley (B.S. ’21) back to campus to kick off the weekend by ringing the Old Main Bell.

Since graduating from CSU, Dexter has made a lasting impact across Northern Colorado through compassionate leadership, community service and nonprofit innovation. During more than three years as executive director of FoCo Cafe, Dexter helped raise funding for nearly 25,000 meals for community members experiencing food insecurity or homelessness and helped serve more than 40,000 meals overall.

When grant funding declined dramatically in 2025, Dexter launched the “Save FoCo Cafe” campaign, raising more than $120,000 and helping position the organization for long-term financial stability.

Today, Dexter continues to give back through nonprofit leadership and board service.

We’re so glad to welcome Dexter back to Ram Country and celebrate their impact as we kick off Homecoming and Family Weekend! 💚💛

Our most recent Alumni Night Out at Arboretum Coffee gave Rams a chance to experience the mission behind a local business that is actively creating opportunity in Fort Collins.

More than a coffee shop, Arboretum Coffee is a nonprofit creating meaningful employment opportunities for refugees and immigrants through its paid apprenticeship program. Apprentices gain workforce training, mentorship, leadership development and community connections that help build skills, confidence and pathways toward long-term careers.

Rams got to try their hand at making lattes while learning more about Arboretum’s mission and the impact they’re making in our community.

We’re proud to spend an evening supporting a local organization that is helping build a stronger, more connected Fort Collins community.

Learn more about Arboretum Coffee and the work they’re doing in our community at https://arboretumcoffee.org/about/

Ram Legends came together in Ram Country this weekend. 🐏🏈

Rams Legend Weekend brought together generations of CSU football greats, including Ring of Honor recipients Sonny Lubick and Joey Porter, as we welcomed two more legends into the Athletics Ring of Honor.

Congratulations to Clark Haggans, CSU’s all-time leader in sacks and tackles for loss and a Super Bowl champion, represented on the field by his former teammates and family, and Lawrence McCutcheon, CSU’s first 1,000-yard rusher and a five-time NFL Pro Bowler, represented on the field by his family.

A legacy forever etched in Ram Country. 🐏

This past Saturday, we were proud to welcome members of Beta Theta Pi’s Epsilon Kappa chapter as our Old Main Bell ringers! 🔔🐏

For generations, Beta Theta Pi has built lifelong friendships while fostering leadership, service and a lasting commitment to Colorado State.

That legacy continues through the Beta Legacy Fund, created by Epsilon Kappa alumni to support philanthropy and stewardship at CSU. After surpassing its original $50,000 goal, the fund continues to connect generations of Rams and strengthen the CSU community.

We celebrated the hundreds of Beta alumni who have made their mark on CSU.

Thank you, Beta Theta Pi, for making us Ram Proud! 💚
