2nd-year OTD Ram and Boys and Girls Club alumnus Malachi Haynes is an exemplary ambassador for both B&GC and CSU! 💚⭐️

Malachi recently hosted the 65th Annual Gala for Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, where he discussed how his formative experience in the Club led him to where he is today as a proud Health and Exercise Science alumnus and to his bright future as an OT!

Way to go, Malachi, we are so incredibly proud of you!

Big congratulations to Hannah Anderson, Emma Bise, and Eden Irrgang! These Occupational Therapy Students were selected as finalists to present their innovative assistive technology solution at the RESNA 2026 Student Design Challenge. RESNA is the largest assistive technology society in North America, and these three were the only non-engineering students among the six finalist teams!

What did they develop? The "Clip Buddy" - an assistive technology device to support individuals with limited upper extremity function in using hair clips. The project was a semester-long, team-based design experience in Jaewon Kang's OT761 Inclusive Technology course.

After Hannah and Eden presented at RESNA, Emma presented at the OT Knowledge Exchange and received the Best OTD Poster Award from the judges.

Amanda has earned a doctorate in OT while growing and raising a family! WOW! Amazing work in a rigorous program while having one of the hardest (and most awesome!) jobs - being a mom!

We can't wait to see the amazing impact you have on the world, Amanda! Congrats!

Bringing together practitioners, students, researchers, and staff, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us to learn, collaborate, and celebrate our incredible field.

A special thank you to Dr. Lisa Juckett, whose powerful keynote address inspired us all to continue focusing our work on serving our communities 💚💛

Our CSU OT Rams went global! 🌏✨
Three faculty, four Ph.D. students, and many alumni presented their research at the 2026 World Federation of Occupational Therapists Congress in Bangkok, Thailand.

Beyond celebrating each other’s presentations, the group explored the culture, flavors, and beauty of Bangkok together.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Rams representing CSU on an international platform! 🐏💚💛
